I believe that I heard they use a form of restraint called "bent wrist control" its designed to inflict a large amount of pain without leaving any bruising or scarring.
I also know that a young woman escaped from CALO and was decalred missing for some time, I'm not sure if shes back home or not but it seems to be quite telling of the care at a facility when a child will risk their lives and live homeless on the streets just to escape it.
I've heard there is something called a ropes course, either used as a punishment or required to advance in the program, eitherway, something like walking on a tightrope many many feet up in the air should surely be a choice for a student, not forced upon them.
Ill go look for more info and come back with some links.
