It seems that certain facility named Solhaven has taken on methods from a number of programs in the states.
First they are placed in a remote community where they are one of the largest employers. Second they use a level system and a number restraints.
They monitor staff so staff that is too friendly towards clients are watched even in their free time.
The price of having one child detained at the facility is almost 2000 dollars PER DAY.
At level one there are two staff members around the detainee taunting the child to attack them and once the child reacts to the provocations the staff engage in a restraint which often is very violent. Once the child has been broken they are put in a privilege based program until the hometown stops the payment, which fortunately during these times is sooner than before.
But it doesn't stop the critic against the program. Some of the teenagers escape to larger cities where they commit new crimes because they have to live undercover and as a homeless teenager.
The manager is a certain Soeren Virenfeldt. When he entered the business he had no formal education regarding counseling teenagers. Is there any knowledge of him having been in the States?
